Why We Started RaeMarie & Me

I hope you get to read the “About Us” section. But here is a little more personal insight. 

RaeMarie & Me was created from something deeply personal—our family. This did not just start overnight. It has been thought out in our dreams for the last few years. 

As a mom, I often found it difficult to shop for clothing that felt appropriate, stylish, and comfortable for both myself and my daughters. We wanted pieces that allowed us to feel confident, put-together, and true to who we are—without compromising on modesty or quality. Time and time again, we left stores feeling frustrated, wishing there was a place designed for women and teens to shop together with ease.

That desire became the foundation for RaeMarie & Me.

The name itself holds meaning close to our hearts. “RaeMarie” comes from our daughters’ middle names—a reflection of the love, purpose, and intention behind everything we do. The “Me” is just as important. It represents you—our customer, our community, and every woman and young girl who wants to feel seen, valued, and confident. 

While we are not models or fashion experts, we are just like you. We are just a busy mom and two active daughters just navigating everyday life—juggling responsibilities, showing up, and still wanting to feel good in what we wear. That perspective is at the heart of every piece we choose. If we wouldn’t wear it, we won’t offer it.

Our faith plays a guiding role in this journey. We believe that every person is uniquely created and worthy of confidence and joy. That belief shapes how we choose our clothing, how we serve our customers, and how we show up in our business each day. It’s about more than fashion—it’s about encouraging confidence from the inside out.

Living in a small, rural community has also shaped our vision. We understand the importance of connection, support, and lifting one another up. RaeMarie & Me is our way of bringing that sense of community into an online space—a place where style meets purpose, and where every generation is welcomed.
